General Rules

	Play will be conducted in accordance with the Rules of the World Bowls Board.
	Competitors in all competitions are allowed 15 minutes to answer their name when called. Time allowance will be strictly adhered to.
	Venues and Times of Play cannot be changed under any circumstances.
	Umpires on all greens have been instructed to examine bowls. Bowls must bear any legible stamp for Gents or be stamped 2008 or later for Ladies.
	Whites and Greys are to be worn by all competitors for semi-final and final stages of the tournament.
	The organisers reserve the right to withhold prize money from competitors who are unable to complete the final stages.
	Substitutions in accordance with SBA National Championship Rules.
	Club officials have full authority during the playing of ties on their green throughout the tournament. The officials have the authority to speak to competitors on any matter of delivery, players damaging greens, behaviour on the green and any other matter which in their view causes a threat to their premises or greens, and in the extreme, may ask players to leave the green. The Gareloch Bowling Association will fully support decisions made by club officials on these matters.

Competition Rules

	Name of partner in Pairs games must be inserted on card before start of first game. No double entries are permitted.
	Pairs games will consist of 15 ends, Mixed Pairs 11 ends and finals 17 ends.
	Mixed Triples will consist of 11 ends, finals 15 ends.
	As allowed for under rule 57 of the WBB, the following shall apply to the mixed pairs competition: (a) For games starting at 6:30 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, a maximum of 1 trial end (4 bowls) may be played. For games starting at 8:15 pm there shall be NO trial end unless competitors did not play at 6:30 pm, in which case, a maximum of 1 trial end (4 bowls) may be played by those competitors.
